GSM Modem w/USB
The GSM Modem w/USB Connection allows you to send text message alerts over any GSM/GPRS/ EDGE network from AVTECH’s Room Alert Manager software. This compact 3G/2G modem connects directly to Room Alert Manager’s host system by a USB 2.0 connector, which also provides power to the modem. It requires a SIM card (mini-SIM), which you may obtain from your cellular service provider.

The GSM modem is easy to install, plug-and-play, quad-band modem is controlled via AT commands and programmable for setting and AT command customization. Built for AVTECH by Multi-Tech, this modem features complete IP connectivity and a robust compact casing, ideal for industrial environments. This is our recommended and preferred modem for use with Room Alert Manager. This modem is the best we’ve found to connect and alert via cellular. It requires that you purchase a data card or SIM from your service providers.
